Data categories, purposes and legal bases

Below are the purposes for which we process the personal data of users who browse and use the services of the Site, with the related legal bases and retention periods.

Browsing data

The IT systems and software procedures that run the Site acquire, during their normal operation, certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This data is not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but by its nature could, through processing and association, allow users to be identified.

Data processed: IP addresses, domain names, URIs of requested resources, request time, request method, size of the file obtained, server response status and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and IT environment.
Legal basis: Provision of the browsing service and legitimate interest in ensuring the correct functioning and security of the IT systems.
Retention: No longer than 24 months.

Contact form

Data entered in the contact form is processed to respond to the requests received.

Data processed: First name, last name, email, phone number and other data voluntarily provided in the form or email.
Legal basis: Performance of pre-contractual measures and/or of the contract at the data subject's request.
Retention: Time needed to handle the request; if a contractual relationship begins, the periods stated in the customer notice apply.

Careers form / applications

Data sent through the careers form is processed for recruitment and selection activities.

Data processed: First name, last name, email, date of birth, phone number, education, any CV and other data voluntarily provided.
Legal basis: Performance of pre-contractual measures at the data subject's request.
Retention: 36 months.

Cookies and analytics tools

The Site uses technical cookies and, subject to consent, analytics cookies (Google Analytics). Details are available in the Cookie Policy.

Data processed: Data collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Legal basis: Consent for non-technical cookies; legitimate interest for technical cookies.
Retention: As stated in the Cookie Policy.

Dispute management

Where necessary, data may be processed to manage complaints and disputes, to prevent and suppress unlawful acts and to protect the rights and legitimate interests of the Controller and/or third parties, including in court.

Data processed: Data relevant to the dispute.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest (right to take action and defend, art. 24 of the Italian Constitution).
Retention: Until the time limits for bringing actions have expired.

Recipients of the data

Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties, except for the suppliers involved in the activities (e.g. hosting and analytics providers), appointed as data processors where necessary and always strictly in line with the purposes stated above.

Transfers outside the EEA

The Controller may transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), for example when relying on providers such as Google. In such cases it adopts appropriate safeguards (adequacy decisions under art. 45 or standard contractual clauses under art. 46 of the Regulation) or, alternatively, the derogations provided for in art. 49.

Nature of the provision of data

Providing browsing data is necessary to use the Site. Providing data for the additional services (contact form, careers) is optional, but failure to provide it prevents access to the relevant service.

Rights of the data subject

As a data subject, you may exercise the following rights against the Controller at any time:

Access (art. 15): obtain confirmation of the processing and access to your data and the related information.
Rectification (art. 16): correct inaccurate data or complete incomplete data.
Erasure / right to be forgotten (art. 17): obtain the erasure of your data in the cases provided for.
Restriction (art. 18): obtain the restriction of processing in the cases provided for.
Portability (art. 20): receive your data in a structured format and transmit it to another controller.
Objection (art. 21): object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on legitimate interest.
Withdrawal of consent: withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

To exercise your rights you may write to the Controller's email address indicated above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante).
